Kids' Country is proud to offer an affordable and fun full-day training event to all childcare professionals in Contra Costa and Alameda Counties.


20/20 Vision: All Eyes on Afterschool

You’re invited to the 5th Annual Kids’ Country Conference!

This conference will take place on Saturday, March 7th from 8:00am-3:00pm at Quail Run Elementary School. Workshops include, Outdoor Games, Edible Education, Behavior Management, Anti-Bullying, STEAM Education, and so much more! We believe that quality learning opportunities come from well-trained, educated employees who are also caring and nurturing individuals. We believe that that staff who are encouraged to share their own expertise and passions will create dynamic programs that foster unique talents of the children they care for.

The registration fee is $60 per participant until March 6th, 2020. This includes continental breakfast, lunch, and all-day training! For ticket information, click here.

Key Note Speaker: Rick Rood

 

Rick Rood has been on the front lines of Out-of-School-Time (OST) programs for over 25 years, working directly with children and front-line staff.  Rick is an OST trainer, an author, and co-creator of the Beyond School Time Conference, and a bold thinker in the OST arena. He also serves on the Leadership Team of the California AfterSchool Network.
