Having grown up in our community I have seen firsthand the power of Kids’ Country’s afterschool enrichment programming. For over 30 years now, Kids’ Country has upheld a reputation of excellence when it comes to caring for the children of the San Ramon Valley. Now as a full time working mother of two children, I see the need for Kids’ Country’s services. I am honored and excited to serve as the leader of this incredible organization that never settles for average. Our creative, inspiring and hardworking staff work tirelessly to bring out the best in each and every child. Encouraging imagination and accepting diversity is the norm at all of our 13 locations.
Kids’ Country is entering a very exciting time as we work toward becoming the gold standard of afterschool programs. By June 2015, all 13 of our locations will have achieved the honor and prestige of being accredited by the Council on Accreditation. Our Program of the Arts, countless community service initiatives, health and wellness programs, endless staff development, diverse summer camps and the planned Center for the Arts and Sciences are just a few of the ongoing projects at Kids’ Country.
Awarded Best Place to Work 2014 and Top Workplace 2014 exemplifies the fact that our staff love coming to work each day and providing a safe, loving and enriching environment for our children.
